Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Visits Jhang

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Tuesday visited Jhang and went to Darul Amaan
He laid foundation stone of Shelter Home in DHQ Hospital and held a meeting with MPAs and MNAs at Circuit House.
Chief Minister was accorded warm welcome on his arrival here by divisional and district heads of administration and elected persons.
He also visited Darul Amaan at Toba Road here. He reviewed the arrangements of Darul Amaan and met with the women residing in it.
He listened to their problems and distributed gifts among them and also awarded Rs.1,00,000/- Eidi for them.
He visited DHQ hospital and took round of different wards of the hospital and inquired about heath of the patients.
He visited Trauma Center and reviewed facilities provided in the center. He also met with the attendants of the patients and got information about the services provided by the hospital to their patients.
He laid foundation stone of Shelter Home in DHQ hospital. The Shelter Home will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs.8,00,000/-.
He told that such Shelter Homes would be constructed in all hospitals of the Punjab.
He declared to upgrade Ghulam Nabi Ward up to 150 beds and also assured to provide funds for the up gradation of Child Ward of the hospital.
He said that he was visiting different hospitals to improve working of the hospitals. He announced to make DHQ hospital Jhang as a Model Hospital.
Later, he held a meeting with MPAs and MNAs at Circuit House and discussed problems of the district with them.
Declaring to make Jhang a Model City under Cities Development Fund, the CM said that Jhang was his own city and all possible resources would be provided for its progress.
He said that water supply, sewerage and all other municipal services would be improved. He said that DHQ hospital would be upgraded and the shortage of staff would be filled shortly.
He declared to include project of repair and construction of Faisalabad Jhang Shorkot Road in next fiscal budget.
He ordered to estimate losses by water of Trimu Head Works and also directed to get report from concerned department for connecting Jhang with Motorway.
