
Punjab CM Calls On Governor

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif called on Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana at Governor House here on Tuesday. Political situation of the country, development projects in the province and upcoming elections of local government heads were discussed in the meeting. On the occasion, the Governor said that the vision given by the provincial leadership had helped to develop farflung areas, particularly South Punjab and special attention was being paid to provide basic amenities to the people, adding that increasing popularity of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was the expression of confidence by the masses.
Rajwana said there could not be find any example of development projects given to South Punjab in this tenure, Metro Bus projects would provide modern and best transportation facities to the people of Multan, he added. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that billion of rupees were being spent on the projects for welfare of the people while development of South Punjab would be specially focused. He said the Punjab government had introduced a new culture of transparency, standard and rapid development and the real change was being witnessed by everybody.
