Punjab Food Authority Discards 1,876-litre Adulterated Milk

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Friday discarded 1,876 litres of adulterated milk and sealed 13 food points over unhygienic conditions.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2018 ) :The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Friday discarded 1,876 litres of adulterated milk and sealed 13 food points over unhygienic conditions.
The dairy safety teams checked 14 vehicles carrying milk, which was found adulterated on Friday at different entry points of the city.
Chemicals, powder and water was found mixed with the milk.
Other PFA teams conducted raids in Multan and its adjoining areas and sealed 13 eateries over poor cleanliness, sub-standard material and other violations of the relevant laws.
The PFA teams also imposed Rs 118,500 fine on various food points for not following the department orders, conveyed to them earlier.
