Returning Officer Approves Nomination Of Asif Ali Zardari Rejecting Objections On His Form

Returning Officer NA-213 Muhammad Mehboob Awan rejected all objections leveled on the nomination form filed by PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and approved his nomination making him eligible to contest election 2018 from his home district.

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2018 ) :Returning Officer NA-213 Muhammad Mehboob Awan rejected all objections leveled on the nomination form filed by PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and approved his nomination making him eligible to contest election 2018 from his home district.

Asif Ali Zardari's lawyer Farooq H. Naek while talking to media persons here told that all objections raised on nomination form of Asif Ali Zardari proved fake and were rejected by Returning Officer.

He appreciated the role of media due to which Election Commission of Pakistan sent SOPs to Returning Officer regarding three departments i.

e FIA, NAB and State Bank of Pakistan.

The RO on the basis of SOP rejected all objections submitted on nomination form of Asif Zardari and approved the same, he said.

Naek termed it a big victory of PPP and its workers.

Regarding holding of elections on time, Naek said that Election Commissioner has expressed its commitment to hold elections on time while PPP also wanted the same.

He also expressed the hope that elections would be transparent and PPP would win.
