SC approves govt's request to change name of Dam Fund

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Sep, 2018 ) :Supreme Court on Monday admitted request of the Federal government to change the name of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dam Fund to Prime Minister Chief Justice of Pakistan Fund.

A four-member bench headed by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar approved the government's request to change the name of the fund to PMCJ.

Chief Justice remarked "I told Prime Minister that it is more important that money is contributed tothe fund. The matter is not linked to an individual."
