Security Plan Finalizes For Urs Of Khawaja Ghulam Farid

District Police Officer (DPO) Rajanpur, Haroon Khan on Thursday finalized all security arrangements on annual Urs of famous Saint and Sufi Poet of the South Punjab Khawaja Ghulam Farid.
On the occasion, he told APP that foolproof security arrangements will be made for the celebrations of the Urs. As many as 1500 policemen in which 5 DSPs, 14 Inspectors, 56 Sub Inspectors, 86 Assistant Sub Inspectors and lady police will perform security duties.
In addition, 6 teams of the elite force will be present to deal with any emergency, 30 check posts will be set up on the security of the Urs, he said. As many as 15 police mobiles and 10 motorbikes will be deputed on patrolling in the area round the clock, he added.
He said that CCTV and drone cameras will be used to avoid any untoward incident. He directed the police officers for making foolproof security arrangements and warned no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
