Students Termed BZU Job Fair Productive For Getting Employed

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Oct, 2017 ) :Students visiting a day long job fair held at Bahauddin Zakriaya University ( BZU) termed it productive and helpful for getting them employed.
Over 40 pharmaceutical, agricultural, tractor manufacturers, Insurance, IT companies besides banks, hotels etc set up their stalls for collecting Curriculum Vitae (CVs) from the job seekers qualified from different varsities.
Ishrat Baloch, an M.Phil qualified student from BZU told APP that she had come all the way from Bahawalpur to submit her CV at different stalls at job fair. She said that some companies seemed interested in tapping the candidates from this fair adding that a few have set up stalls just for promotion of their products.
Shazia Rehman, another student doing MBA in HR from BZU said that she had also applied for job through her CV.
She informed that the representatives at various stalls conveyed her that the candidates would be short listed.
She said that she got good response from the fair adding that she hoped to get positive reply from the companies too for job. Abdullah Sajjad, a Mass Communication student informed that he had submitted his CV to almost 30 stalls.
He said that he had attached a good hope for getting employment through this fair. A know pharmaceutical company senior sales manager, Muhammad Ali said that they had received over 400 CVs so far and they were very happy over it.
He said that his company was offering marketing and sales jobs in next month and they would definitely call the candidates for interview after scrutiny from these CVs.
