Three Key Recreational Places Shifted Under IMC

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th august,2016) : Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday shifted the administrative control of three more recreational places to Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC). The places that were shifted to the IMC include Murghazar Zoo, F-9 Park and Rawal Lake, said a press release issued by Capital Administration and Development Division (CA&DD). Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for CA&DD Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said IMC and CDA were jointly working for the development of Federal capital in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to provide basic facilities to the citizens.

He said on the directives of the Prime Minister, the powers have been shifted to lower level so that the local leadership and public representatives could play their role to address the problems of citizens. The minister said government would take measures to make the Islamabad a model city with the help of local body representatives. He hoped that after shifting of administrative control of the above places, the citizens would be able to get more better recreational facilities than ever.
