Various Directorates Working Under FATA Secretariat Abolished

In pursuance of integration and merger of erstwhile FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in order to provide better line of administrative, management, the provincial government has abolished various directorates working under FATA Secretariat and asked them to report their respective Secretaries of KP government in all official business.
According to an official notification issued by Establishment Department government of KhyberPakhtunkhwa here on Friday, Directorates of Agriculture (Extension), Livestock and Dairy Development, Fisheries would report to Secretary Agriculture while livestock and Cooperation Department, Directorate of Forests would report to Secretary Environment Department, Directorate of Irrigation and Hydle Power would report to Secretary Irrigation Department and Directorate of sports would report to Secretary Sports, Culture, Tourism and Youth Affairs Department.
Subsequent modalities on other auxiliary matters would be decided shortly. In case of issues in financing, development schemes and other matters relating to erstwhile FATA viz-a-viz Federal government and other partners, the respective Secretary may communicate and route cases as per current arrangements accordingly.
