And now, they recently thrilled their fans by announcing they would come together once again in Inshallah, after 19 years. Salman had also done a small role in Saawariya. In fact, they were so close that once Bhansali's mother had said she had two sons.

But there was a time when the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star and the Padmaavat director had a huge fallout.The reason for this famous friendship going awry was simple: opportunism. During Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which was about two men (Ajay Devgn and Salman falling in love with the same girl Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), Salman was not pleased with the ending.

He wanted Aishwarya to walk away with him and not with Ajay, who played her husband, at the end. Salman brought his buddy Sooraj Barjatya to meet and convince Bhansali that the proper conclusion to the love triangle was that Salman should "get" Aishwarya.

But Bhansali stuck to his guns�. and Ajay Devgn was the lucky guy who got the girl!A couple of years later, when Bhansali announced his third film Devdas, Salman naturally expected to be in it.
