Moscow To Share 2018 FIFA World Cup Tourism Experience At IFTM Top Resa - Authorities

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st September, 2018) Representatives of the city of Moscow will share the experience of hosting tourists during the 2018 FIFA World Cup at the upcoming international tourism industry trade fair IFTM Top Resa, the city's Department of sports and Tourism said on Friday.
"From September 25 to September 28, 2018, the Department of Sport and Tourism of Moscow will take part in the international tourist exhibition IFTM TOP RESA 2018, within the framework of which it will speak about interaction between Paris and Moscow and new opportunities for French tourists. Also, the representative of the department will share the experience in hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup," the statement read.
Moscow ranks first among actively developing metropolises in the world and is one of the biggest business and tourism centers, the authorities underlined.
"A separate topic will be devoted to the 2018 World Cup 2018, during which 4.5 million tourists visited Moscow. Inessa Grig [the department's official] will speak about how the city changed for the World Cup, and also will sum up the results of the mundial," the department added.
Russia hosted the FIFA World Cup on June 14-July 15. The tournament was won by the French national team. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said that Russia hosted the "best World Cup ever" and thanked everyone who had helped to organize the prestigious event.
