PAF Wins Asian Style Kabaddi Series Against SLAF

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) won the three-match Asian Style Kabaddi Series against Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) here at PAF complex, said a press release issued by Directorate of Media Affairs of PAF.
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Oct, 2018 ) :Pakistan Air Force (PAF) won the three-match Asian Style Kabaddi Series against Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) here at PAF complex, said a press release issued by Directorate of Media Affairs of PAF.
The series was part of bilateral sports programme between the friendly air forces. PAF won the closely contested first match 35/32.
The second match was also won by the hosts with a convincing margin with the score 52/36. The last match was closely fought and ended in a dramatic draw at the 26 points each.
The hosts PAF team clinched the series where excited crowd turned up to watch this traditional Eastern sport.
Usman Khalid and Arsalan Maitla were the pick of the players from PAF side while from SLAF team Kurrupu and Rathanayake displayed wonderful game.
This is the first time that the PAF has organized the Asian Style Kabaddi Series under the banner of PAF-SLAF bilateral sports exchange.
Under the same initiative, SLAF football team visited Pakistan last year and played a bilateral football series with PAF football team.
