Peshawar, Mardan Red, Swat, Hangu Enters Into Semi-finals In Shama Soccer

Peshawar, Mardan Red, Swat and Hangu took berth into the semi-finals after registering victories against their respective rivals in the ongoing All Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shama Inter-District Football Championship being played at Younis Stadium on Tuesday.
Now DFA Mardan will face Swat in the first semi-final while Swat will clash against DFA Hangu in the second semi-final.
Before the start of the match of the last round the players were introduced to Syed Umar Farooq Kaka Khail, General Secretary PTI Peshawar Region. Organizing Secretary Ali Gohar, who is also member district council Mardan Khas, officials, former International football player Zahir Shah, officials and large number of spectators were also present and witnessed the matches.
In the last round match DFA Hangu and Malakand gave each other tough fight. Malakand played well and soon got the lead through right winger Waqar. It was a left winger attack and by reaching in the danger zone Sajid, the left winger, gave a free ball to unmarked Waqar who did nothing wrong in dispatching it into the net to make the tally 1-0.
After taking leading Malakand put in more pressure and with the attacking rallies succeeded in scoring another goal, this time through inner striker Adnan on the field attempt.
When taking 2-0 lead, Malakand lost an edge over the match and thus on the other hand Hangu succeeded in reducing the margin when center striker Zahid on the field attempt. At half-time Malakand was leading by 2-1.
It was the second session in which when Hangu managed their position according to the situation and succeeded in leveling the tally in the 58th minute through left winger Javed on the field attempt.
When both were tied 2-2 till the stipulated time, both were awarded five each penalty kicks on which Hangu availed all five attempts but Malakand scored on four occasions as the attempt of Inam Ullah was nicely intercepted by Hangu goal-keeper Ibrar. Khair Ul Amin, Abdur Rehman, Abid and Zeeshan supervised the match.
