Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th August, 2018) A woman appointed to a top management position in the UAE government has decided to return Pakistan to serve her country.

In her video message going viral on social media, she said, “My name is Ismat Gul Khattak and I am considered among those overseas Pakistanis who are on top management positions in the UAE government.”

She said that she resigned from there and got a new contract-based job in Pakistan with salary far less than what she was already getting in Dubai.

She said that she took this step with the intention to improve the economy of the country.

The woman added that she has seen almost all of the world and the secret of success of developed countries lies in their systems and implementation procedure.

“My 30-year professional experience is based on quality, conformity and strategy that overcomes technical barriers in trade, increases exports, decreases imports of substandard products, and improves market surveillance,” she said.

Khattak said that she wishes to get a platform where she can play a positive role for the development of her country.

Earlier, a Pakistani doctor living in the US for ten years decided to come back to the country after selling his US property.

In his video message, Dr Imran said that he is a physician in America for 10 years.

He recalled how Prime Minister Imran Khan said that overseas Pakistanis should play their role in the development of the country.

He said that he will sell his property and bring the Dollars back to Pakistan. He added that we are coming back to serve our country. Allah has given us this chance, we all have to work to make this country great.

Prime Minister Imran Khan in his maiden 70-minute long address to the nation shared his vision for the "Naya Pakistan" that focuses on rooting out corruption, providing swift justice, reviving economy and supremacy of the law, to materialize his dream of a welfare state like that of Madina.

The prime minister spelt out at length his plans for the reformation of the country that has been mired in over Rs 28,000 billion loans in the past decade. Imran Khan while giving a brief outline about the current dismal state of things, where the national economy was in a shambles and all sectors were in decline, said instead of begging foreign countries for loans, the people of Pakistan needed to sacrifice and stand on their own feet.

He had made an impassioned appeal to the overseas Pakistanis to send in their remittances through banking channels and have their US Dollar accounts in Pakistani banks to bolster the country's forex reserves.
