Antonov Says US Denies Permission to Enter Closed Russian Consulate in San Francisco

MONTEREY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 13th October, 2018) Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said on Friday that he has been denied permission by the US authorities to enter the closed Consulate General in San Francisco, and will examine the building from the outside on Sunday.

Antonov, who is visiting San Francisco, said a request was sent to the US authorities seeking permission to enter closed Consulate General.

"We received the answer - no," Antonov said.
