APEC Summit Participants Face Difficulties Coordinating, Signing Final Declaration -Source

PORT MORESBY (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th November, 2018) Participants of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, which is currently underway in Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, have faced difficulties with the coordination and the signing of the final declaration, a source from one of the delegations told Sputnik on Sunday.

The final declaration is usually announced at the final press conference. The final conference of this edition of the APEC summit was due to start at 3:30 p.m. local time on Sunday (05:30 GMT).

"There are difficulties concerning the coordination and the signing of the final document," the source told Sputnik.

The two-day summit started on Saturday. The Russian delegation is headed by Dmitry Medvedev, the country's prime minister.
