Czech Republic Firearms Maker Plans $90Mln Investment In US Gun Factory - Governor

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th April, 2019) The US state of Arkansas has been chosen as the location for a gun manufacturing plant and headquarters for CZ-USA, the American subsidiary of the Czech Republic firearms company Ceska zbrojovka a.s. Uhersky Brod (CZUB), the company announced in a press release on Tuesday.
"CZ-USA plans to implement a two-phase approach with an investment of up to $90 million and create some 565 jobs over a six-year period," the release stated.
Construction will begin immediately, with initial start-up planned for March 2020, the release said. Production at the facility in the Arkansas capital of Little Rock will commence in two three-year phases.
CZ-USA makes handguns, rifles, shotguns and noise suppressors, according to the release.
