Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has recovered more than Rs 7.81 million from 81 dead defaulters in all the five districts - Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur and Okara - on the 225th day of its recovery campaign

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2024) Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has recovered more than Rs 7.81 million from 81 dead defaulters in all the five districts - Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur and Okara - on the 225th day of its recovery campaign.

LESCO spokesman told media here Wednesday that on the 225th day, SE (Superintending Engineer) Nisar Sarwar has recovered outstanding dues of Rs 0.83 million from 12 defaulters in Northern Circle; SE Umar Bilal recovered Rs 0.71 million from 06 defaulters in Eastern Circle; SE (Central Circle) recovered Rs 1.63 million from 14 defaulters; SE (South Circle) collected Rs 0.24 million from 07 defaulters; SE (Nankana Circle) recovered Rs 0.41 million from 13 defaulters; SE Najamul Hassan recovered Rs 2.61 million from 11 defaulters in Sheikhupura Circle; SE Jamshed Zaman collected Rs 0.42 million from 04 defaulters in Okara Circle and SE Ahmed Shahzad Chughtai recovered Rs 0.

96 million from 14 defaulters in Kasur Circle.

During the 225 days, the spokesman added that the LESCO under the supervision of Director (Customer Services) Sarwar Mughal has recovered a total of Rs 4.63 billion outstanding dues from 103,601 dead defaulters. He elaborated that up till now the company has collected Rs 669.38 million from 15,047 defaulters in Northern Circle; Rs 990.04 million from 13,622 defaulters in Eastern Circle; Rs 655.57 million from 11,748 defaulters in Central Circle; Rs 275.75 million from 6,147 defaulters in South Circle; Rs 438.04 million from 8,988 defaulters in Nankana Circle; Rs 622.82 million from 12,097 defaulters in Sheikhupura Circle; Rs 378.93 million from 16,420 defaulters in Okara Circle and Rs 595.34 million from 19,532 defaulters in Kasur Circle.
