Death Toll From Major Earthquake In Haiti Grows To 17 - Reports

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 09th October, 2018) At least 17 people were killed as a result of a recent earthquake that hit off Haiti's northwestern coast, media reported, citing the Caribbean nation's Office of Civil Protection.
Earlier reports suggested that 14 people were killed.
In addition, a total of 333 people were wounded, the Miami Herald newspaper said Monday.
The 5.9-magnitude quake took place on Saturday at 08:10 p.m. local time (00:10 GMT Sunday) at the depth of around 7 miles.
