CAIRO, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Aug, 2017 ) : Egypt strongly condemned on Thursday the car attack in Paris that left six French soldiers injured. "Egypt fully supports the French government and people in its war against terrorism," the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a press statement.
The statement further underlined the need for decisive measures against terrorism and take legal actions against those who support terror groups financially and logistically. On Wednesday, a man ploughed his car into a group of French soldiers in a Paris suburb, injuring six soldiers two of them are in critical condition.
A man suspected to be connected to the accident was shot and wounded before he was arrested on a highway north of Paris. Investigators are trying to verify whether the driver is indeed the one who carried out the attack. It's not clear if the attacker has terror links.
