Israeli Army Says Its Drone Went Down in Syria Due to Technical Defect

TEL AVIV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd September, 2021) The Israel Defense Forces reported on the fall of one of its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) on the territory of neighboring Syria, caused by a mechanical flaw.

"Recently, during a scheduled operation, a UAV of the IDF fell down on the Syrian territory over a technical defect. The causes of the incident are being investigated," the military said in a statement.

A similar accident took place on August 15.
