MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 01st April, 2019) German government aircraft A340 Konrad Adenauer, on board of which German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has arrived in New York from Berlin earlier in the day, had a technical malfunction once again, local media reported Monday.

The aircraft had a problem with a wheel landing gear, according to the Focus magazine.

After landing, the plane was not able to park without assistance.

The pilot of the aircraft confirmed a wheel malfunction, adding that the plane had to be towed.

In November, the Konrad Adenauer aircraft with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on board had a technical malfunction during the flight and was forced to land in Cologne after a communications systems failure.
