Man Arrested For Waving The Flag Of Pakistan At Home In India

Bihar, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd July, 2016) : A person was detained in attempt to fulfill his vow in India; police arrested him for waving the flag of Pakistan at his home. According to the Indian media, Anwar ul Haq, resident of Nalanda district of Bihar has waved Pakistan’s flag on his house’s roof in attempt to fulfill his vow.
The person involved in the case was arrested.
Anwar ul Haq told the police that his son was not born until several years after the marriage; he kept a vow that if the child was born, he will go to Pakistan.
Anwar ul Haq said, after the birth of his son he could not made it to Pakistan, that is why he put the flag of Pakistan on the roof. Police arrived at the scene of the incident and launched an investigation into the incident while took off the Pakistani flag from the roof. Whereas, local residents demanded strict action against the person for waving Pakistani flags.
