Paris is hoping that Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the anniversary of the end of the World War I commemorated on November 11, a source from the French Foreign Ministry said Monday.
PARIS (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th October, 2018) Paris is hoping that Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the anniversary of the end of the World War I commemorated on November 11, a source from the French Foreign Ministry said Monday.
"President Putin might arrive. We are hoping that he will be there," the source told reporters.
Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said in late September that the invitation had been received and the Kremlin was considering it "in a positive way."
