MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 26th March, 2019) Russian President Vladimir Putin held phone talks with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, discussed bilateral relations and integration processes in the format of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Kremlin said in a statement Tuesday.

"Urgent issues of Russian-Belarusian relations with an emphasis on the development of cooperation within the framework of the Union State were considered. Integration processes in the format of the Eurasian Economic Union were also touched upon," the statement said.
