Romanian PM Stands Firm On Decrees Despite Mass Protests

BUCHAREST, Feb 2, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Feb, 2017 ) - Romania's prime minister said Thursday the government would push ahead with decrees decriminalising a range of corruption offences, defying the country's biggest protests since the end of communism.
"We took a decision in the government and we are going to press ahead," Sorin Grindeanu said after a meeting in Bucharest of his ruling Social Democrats.
