Russia Election Commission Recommends To Invalidate Governor's Vote In Primorsky Territory

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia recommends the Primorsky Territory election commission to recognize the results of the governor elections invalid, CEC Head Ella Pamfilova said Wednesday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th September, 2018) The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia recommends the Primorsky Territory election commission to recognize the results of the governor elections invalid, CEC Head Ella Pamfilova said Wednesday.
"In this situation, on the basis of a number of factors that we have carefully analyzed ... We propose, I propose, I hope, my colleagues will support, to recommend to the Primorsky Territory Election Commission to recognize the results of the snap elections of the Primorsky Territory governor invalid," Pamfilova said adding that the CEC and the election commission of Primorsky Terrirory received more than 70 complaints from both candidates.
Andrei Tarasenko, the acting governor of the Russian Far Eastern Primorsky Territory and his opponent Andrei Ishchenko, member of the region's Legislative Assembly from the Communist Party have accused each other of falsifying the protocols in the second round of the election.
