Russia's Heavy Lift Drone Altius To Make Maiden Flight In 2019 - Defense Ministry

Russia's heavy lift unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Altius will take off for its maiden flight next year, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Aleksey Krivoruchko said on Wednesday.
"Next year, this aircraft will make its first flight," Krivoruchko said in an interview with the Zvezda broadcaster.
The UAV Altius has load capacity of up to 2-2.5 tonnes. It is currently being tested by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The aircraft was first presented at the defense industry forum Army 2015.
