Some High-Ranking Venezuelan Officials Fled To Turkey - Opposition Leader Guaido

A number of high-ranking Venezuelan officials left the country for Turkey, opposition leader and self-proclaimed president Juan Guaido said on Saturday
"We go with tonnes of assistance, while the usurping regime today has only murders on Bolivar, soldiers who do not recognize it, and high-ranking officials who condemn it or have already left for Turkey," Guaido posted on Twitter.
The situation in crisis-torn Venezuela escalated on January 23 when Guaido declared himself interim president, disputing last year's reelection of Maduro. Guaido was almost immediately recognized by the United States and some other countries, including Brazil. Russia, China, Mexico, among other nations, voiced support for Maduro, who, in turn, accused Washington of orchestrating a coup.
