Swedish Parliament To Hold Confidence Vote On Prime Minister On Tuesday Morning - Reports

The Swedish parliament will hold a vote of confidence on whether to support Prime Minister Stefan Lofven on Tuesday morning, local media reported Monday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th September, 2018) The Swedish parliament will hold a vote of confidence on whether to support Prime Minister Stefan Lofven on Tuesday morning, local media reported Monday.
The vote will be held at 9:30 a.m.
local time [7:30 GMT], Aftonbladet newspaper reported, citing Anders Ygeman, the leader of the parliamentary faction of Lofven's Social Democratic Party.
"Of course, we think that the prime minister should have confidence," Ygeman told the newspaper.
At the same time, the faction leader said the party had "no illusions" about the upcoming vote.
Lofven's coalition has 144 seats in a 349-seat parliament, while the center-right Alliance secured 143 seats at the general election held on September 9.
