Turkey will not remain silent amid the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd October, 2018) Turkey will not remain silent amid the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.
"This incident happened in Istanbul and we have the responsibility, so as those in the position of responsibility it is our right to question this.
As the fog slowly lifts, other countries have taken action as well, and we in return have stated that we will not remain silent against this murder and that we will take any steps required by conscience and law," Erdogan told the parliament, as aired by the TRT broadcaster.
