UK Foreign Office Offers Condolences Over Kerch Tragedy

The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Thursday expressed condolences to those affected by the attack in the Crimean city of Kerch that killed and injured dozens of people.

On Wednesday, 18-year-old Vladislav Roslyakov perpetrated a shooting and bombing attack on the Kerch polytechnic college, where he was a fourth-year student.
According to the latest data, 21 people were killed and nearly 50 more were injured in the attack. The attacker committed suicide, and his motives still remain unclear.
"We are deeply saddened by the attack at Kerch Polytechnic College in Crimea, which killed and injured multiple people, many of whom were children," a Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement.
"The UK offers its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and friends of those who were killed, and wishes a swift recovery to the injured," the statement says.
