US House Panel To Subpoena Entire Unredacted Mueller Report Friday - Chairman

US House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler pledged to issue a subpoena to obtain the full and unredacted report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into alleged Trump-Russian collusion and 2016 election meddling on Friday

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th April, 2019) US House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler pledged to issue a subpoena to obtain the full and unredacted report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into alleged Trump-Russian collusion and 2016 election meddling on Friday.

"We need the entire report, unredacted, and the underlying documents in order to make informed decisions ... We will subpoena that entire report today," Nadler told ABC.

The congressman from New York said that the subpoena will be issued within the next couple of hours. Nadler added that his subpoena will include grand jury evidence.

On Thursday, US Attorney General William Barr said Mueller did not find any evidence that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to interfere in the 2016 US presidential election. Barr also said Mueller's report did conclude that Russia tried to influence the US election, but no American was part of those efforts.

Russia has repeatedly refuted any claims of interference in the US political system, saying the allegations were made up to excuse the election loss of Trump's opponent as well as deflect public attention from actual instances of election fraud and corruption.
