MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 25th March, 2019) US Vice President Mike Pence has praised special counsel Robert Mueller's conclusion that there was no collusion between Russia and the Trump camp as a total vindication, adding it was time for the Democrats to help the president advance his agenda to the nation's benefit.
"This total vindication of the President of the United States and our campaign should be welcomed by every American who cherishes the truth and the integrity of our elections... We can only hope that Democrats, who have spent so much time on these discredited allegations, will join us to advance an agenda that will make our nation even more prosperous and more secure for every American," he said in a statement.
US Attorney General William Barr on Sunday released his summary of the long-awaited report that concluded almost two years of an investigation into Russia's suspected meddling in the 2016 election and its purported coordination between the Trump campaign. No further charges were advised.
