Results of PP-23 Chakwal-III Bye-Election held on 18 April 2017

The Bye-Election was held on 18th April 2017 in Provincial Punjab Assembly constituency PP-23 Chakwal-III. Sheharyar Malik from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 71573 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Sultan Surkhuru Awan from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 50151 votes. Total 8 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 258079 voters registered in PP-23, out of which 126424 votes were polled out, 123956 votes were valid and 2468 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 48.99 % for PP-23 constituency of National Assembly.
