Asia Drives 4 Pct Rise In 2016 World Tourism Numbers: UN

MADRID, , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2017 ) - The number of international tourists rose by nearly four percent worldwide to 1.2 billion people in 2016 as Asians hit the road more, the World Tourism Organization said Tuesday.
Europe remained the most visited region in the world, with 620 million tourists, although the rise in the number of visitors slowed compared to 2015 due to security fears in some countries, the organisation said.
