MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd September, 2021) The price of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency decreased by about 2% overnight with its value dipping below $40,000 for the first time since early August.
Data from the Binance cryptocurrency exchange showed that Bitcoin price dropped 1.
8% as of 06:18 GMT, trading at $42,000. The lowest price point during the day was about $39,600.
The CoinMarketCap portal showed that Bitcoin was trading at $42,030 after losing 1.89 percentage points in value.
At the start of the month, the cryptocurrency was trading as high as $52,000.
