European Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic said Monday, after hosting gas transit talks with Russia and Ukraine, that the EU executive body remained concerned about compliance of the Nord Stream-2 pipeline project with European laws
"I think that you already know very well the Commission's position. Our concerns remain, especially with regard to our Energy Union objective with regard to our diversification goal. Therefore, we insist upon full compatibility with the European law," he told reporters in Brussels.
