Market Committee Issues Price List Of Vegetables, Fruits

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) :The Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits. According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under: Potato per kilogram is Rs 37, Onion Rs 30, Tomato 58, Ginger Rs 82, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 255, Lemon Rs 120, Lady Finger Rs 62, Green Zucchini Rs 65, Pumpkin Rs 52, Brinjal Rs 36, Peas Rs 195, Farsh Bean Rs 80, Tenda Walaiti 74, Tenda Desi Rs 75, Cucumber Rs 34, Capsicum Rs 85/65, Green Chilli Rs 36, Cauliflower Rs 90/70, Cabbage Rs 55, Bittergourd Rs 55, Spinach Rs 32/20, Turnip Rs 62, Maroo Rs 58, Yam Rs 55, Carrot Rs 115,Chicken Rs 127 and Egg per dozen Rs 99.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 130/165, Apple Gaja Rs 65/92, Apple China Rs 170/200, Apple New Zealand Rs 230/260, Banana Pak Rs 48/80, Pear China Rs 130/160, Grapes (Sundar Khani) Rs 125/148, Grapes Gola Rs 70/88, Guava 50/80, Peach Rs 70/100, Garma Rs 40/65, Mango Najri Rs 55/74, Mango Chonsa White Rs 85/122, Mango Chaonsa Black Rs 50/70 and Mango Ratool Rs 75/110. The spokesman asked the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
