Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMX) Limited's commodity index on Monday closed at 3,686 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 14.035 billion.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Oct, 2018 ) :Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMX) Limited's commodity index on Monday closed at 3,686 points; with traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX recorded at Rs 14.035 billion.

The number of lots traded 16,072, said a press release on Tuesday. ( The data is compiled and released after 24 hours).

The major business was contributed by DJ amounting to Rs 4.232 billion, followed byNSDQ100 Rs 3.916 billion, currencies through COTS Rs 1.904 billion, WTI crude oil Rs 1.824 billion, gold Rs 1.067 billion, SP500 Rs 560.615 million, platinum Rs 210.067 million, silver Rs 147.992 million, copper Rs 105.803 million, natural gas Rs 61.714million and Brent crude oil Rs 4.146 million.

In agriculture commodities, 65 lots of cotton amounting toRs 34.435million were traded.
