Ukraine Must Present Clear Rules On Operation Of Its Gas Transportation System - Alexander Novak

Ukraine must present clear rules for the operation of its transportation system for an agreement on the transit of Russian gas through Ukrainian territory after 2019, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters
"In order to proceed to the specific discussions of the contract... clear rules, regulatory acts on the part Ukraine, which changes its legislation, including parameters on a tariff that must be competitive with other pipelines, with other infrastructure projects, should be presented," Novak said after a three-party meeting between Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission on gas transit.
