United Kingdom Aspirant To See Prosper, Stable Pakistan: Thomes Drew

British High Commissioner, Thomes Drew Wednesday said that the United Kingdom (UK) is aspirant to see prosper and stable Pakistan. He stated this while a meeting with Governor of Sindh Muhammad Zubair at Governor House, said an official statement here.
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Mar, 2018 ) :British High Commissioner, Thomes Drew Wednesday said that the United Kingdom (UK) is aspirant to see prosper and stable Pakistan. He stated this while a meeting with Governor of Sindh Muhammad Zubair at Governor House, said an official statement here.
Thomes Drew said that the UK will keep continuing assistance to the Sindh province in order to make provision of basic facilities possible to the far-flung areas of the province. He said that Briton investors are in touch with British Business Center to get benefit form Karachi.
Governor Sindh Zubair, on the occasion, said that Pakistan and Britain relations are based on decades friendship and with the passage of time the bilateral relations are being consolidated. The Governor said that the bilateral economic relations between the United Kindgom and Pakistan are in the large interest of the region.
He said that the UK assistance in the fields of education and health in Sindh province is appreciable. Zubair said that Pakistan wants to further consolidate relation with the Britain. Adding that the increase in the volume of investment and trade is is need of the hour.
He said that Pakistani nation respect the role of Britain High Commissioner in making the relations of two countries much strong. The Governor said that the economic activities have accelerated in the metropolis after the restoration oflaw and order in the city.
He invited the Briton investors to come to invest in the city and get benefit from the congenial business environment. Zubair said that the government will provide every possible assistance and cooperation to the investors in this regard.
