Vegetables Prices Seen Slight Inclination

Vegetables and fruit prices were witnessed slight inclination in the city,as the prices of tomatoes has reached Rs.85 from Rs 90 per kilogram and Peas reaches Rs 82 from 95 per kilogramme

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Nov, 2017 ) :Vegetables and fruit prices were witnessed slight inclination in the city,as the prices of tomatoes has reached Rs.85 from Rs 90 per kilogram and Peas reaches Rs 82 from 95 per kilogramme.

Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued price list of vegetables and fruits in the markets of Federal Capital. According to a spokesman, there is a shortage of supply due to which prices of some vegetables were high, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar markets are as follows: Potato Rs 40/35 per Kg, Onion Rs 58/48, Ginger Rs 200/130, Garlic Dasi Rs 105/85, Garlic (Quetta) Rs 130/98, Lady Finger Rs 48/40, Pumpkin Rs 45/34, Brinjal Rs 43/35, Cucumber Rs 65/50, Capsicum Rs 145/118, Cauliflower Rs 52/40, Cabbage Rs 44/35, Bitter Gourd Rs 100/85, Green Zucchini Rs 75/60, Spinach Rs 20/15, Raddish Rs 17/13, Turnip Rs 30/20, Maroo Rs 32/22, Green Chillies Rs 95/80, Yam Rs 35/30, Carrot Rs 60/45, Saag Rs 22/17, Chicken Rs 150 and Eggs per dozen Rs127.

Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Golden Rs 130/95, Papaya Rs 110/85, Apple China Rs 220/180, Banana Pak Rs 78/58, Japanese Fruit Rs 92/72, Guava Rs 62/49, Grapes Sundar khani Rs 300/260, Pomegranate Rs 180/145, Apple Kala kolu Rs 160/132, Fruiter Rs 75/60 and Pear China Rs 155/1.

The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform the authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against the shopkeepers.
