Second meeting of Health Policy Advisory Council held to formulate a policy achievable and based on ground realities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :Second meeting of Health Policy Advisory Council held to formulate a policy achievable and based on ground realities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a press release issued here, Advisory council consisted of members from public and international organizations.
Heath system strengthening approach is most likely to be adopted in this policy to achieve better health outcomes.
Human Resource for Health Management and Development was duly given consideration during deliberation.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan collected inputs from members of the recently launched Health Advisory Council comprising all national and international stockholders for inclusion in the draft KP policy and Strategy.
In meeting of the council, the Minister briefed the participants in detail about draft policy and strategy paper which was thoroughly discussed.
After detail considerations, it was decided that members of the Council will finalize their proposals and suggestions and soon submit it to the Health Department which will be later incorporated in the said strategy and policy document.
Besides others representatives of WHO, UNFPA, USAID, DFID, Agha Khan Health Services, PakistanPopulation Welfare Council, KMU, KMC participated.
