ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jun, 2018 ) :The Joint Resistance Leadership while condemning the oppressive measures unleashed by India and its stooges against the Kashmir people has asked the international community to come forward in a big way to stop New Delhi from committing blatant aggression in the territory.
The leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said that crackdowns, killings and spree of arrests by National Investigation Agency, Enforcement Directorate and other Indian agencies were all manifestation of anti-democratic and colonial behavior of Indian rulers. The leadership termed the fresh FIR by NIA against ailing Aasiya Andrabi as a frustrated move, KMS reported.
It is worth mentioning here that Indian Home Ministry had ordered NIA, notorious for implicating Kashmiri resistance leaders in fake cases, to register a case against Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chief Aasiya Andrabi for her pro-freedom speeches.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement in Srinagar said that the Indian forces had let loose a reign of terror in the territory. The APHC appealed to the United Nations Commission for Human Rights to take cognizance of gross violations of human rights by the Indian forces in Kashmir.
The Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasirul islam, in a statement denounced the criminal silence maintained by the world community over worst human rights violations by Indian forces in the occupied territory.
The All Tribal Coordination Committee Chairman Talib Hussain addressing a press conference in Srinagar sought action against BJP leader Lal Singh for supporting culprits of rape and murder of a minor girl, Aasifa, from Kathua.
A Hindu mob set ablaze a truck carrying bovine animals along Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district. The truck was on its way to Kashmir from Jammu region.
Kashmiri diaspora held a demonstration outside UN office in Geneva, today, to condemn the ongoing Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir. The demonstrators holding placards and banners raised high-pitched pro-freedom slogans.
Meanwhile, the first-ever Arabic book written on the Kashmir crisis by a middle Eastern author was launched in Cairo during a special event organized by the Pakistan Embassy in Egyptian capital city. The book "Kashmir Crisis: Unresolved Issue of Muslim Ummah" written by a Jordanian, Omar Mohammad Nazzal Al Armouti, introduces the plight of Kashmiris to the Egyptians as well as other Arab communities.
