India reports 40,134 new coronavirus cases

MUMBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 02nd Aug, 2021) India reported 40,134 new cases of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, a government statement said on Monday.

The country's total caseload now stands at 31.7 million infections. The COVID-19 death toll rose by 422 in the last 24 hours, with the total reaching 424,773.
