1228 Patients Provided Treatment In A Free Medical Camp Near Mithi

MITHI, Nov 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Nov, 2016 ) : Pakistan Army has arranged a free medical camp at village Baghar of tahseel Mithi of Tharparkar district on Wednesday for provision of free health care facilities to residents of far flung villages of south-eastern desert district of Sindh.
More than 1228 people received clinical examination with provision of prescribed medicines at the medical camp. 8842 people have been provided free medicines and consultation in the medical camps arranged since November 01 to date in different villages of Tehsils Chhachhro and Mitthi.
Major Qaim Din and Captain Abuzar informed the media persons that aim of establishing these camps is to provide free medical facilities to the people of Thar. They told that special focus was being paid on the treatment of children and pregnant women as they were vunerable to be affected by different diseases.
Doctors also delivered lectures so that people could be able to prevent themselves from the diseases by adopting precautionary measures.
