1581 Pos Nabbed During Last 120 Days

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) :Islamabad Capital Territory Police have arrested 1581 proclaimed offenders during the last four months in crackdown against those being at large after committing crime. Police sources said that five thousand one hundred and ninety- nine (5199) proclaimed Offenders, in four thousand and ninety-nine (4099) cases, are on the schedule of Islamabad Capital Territory Police. During the last four months, the sources said that Aabpara police station nabbed 103 out of 355 proclaimed offenders in its area; Women police station arrested 19 out 51 proclaimed offenders; Secretariat police held 53 out of 169 absconders; Kohsar police nabbed 146 out of 723; Bhara Kau police held 73 out of 58; Bani Gala police nabbed 21 out 29; Margallah police apprehended 177 out of 742, Karachi Company police held three out of 109; Golra police nabbed 84 out of 188; Tarnol police arrested 81 out of 272; Shalimar police station 61 out 577.
Likewise, Ramana police station nabbed 119 out of 287 proclaimed offenders; Industrial Area police held 117 out 376; Sabzi Mandi police nabbed 134 out of 343; Noon police nabbed seven out of 22; Shehzad town police nabbed 106 out 318; Khana police held 10 out of 55; Nilore police arrested 26 out of 31; Koral police nabbed 68 out of 204; Sihala police held 92 out of 195 and Loi Bher police arrested 81 out of 150 proclaimed offenders during the last four months. When contacted, Islamabad police spokesman said that Senior Superintendent of Police Sajid Kiani has directed all police officer to launch effective crackdown to ensure arrest of proclaimed offenders from the capital city. Nisar Ali Khan has also directed to ensure the arrest a detailed report will be submitted with him soon about performance of Islamabad police during the last four months in this regard.
