288782 Children Would Be Vaccinated During Anti Polio Campaign In Mirpurkhas

MIRPURKHAS, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Oct, 2016 ) : The Deputy Commissioner Mirpurkhas Sayed Mehdi Ali Shah has said 288782 children under five years age would be vaccinated during four days long Polio Eradication Campaign to be held from October 24 to 27 in the district.
This he said while addressing an inaugural ceremony of social mobilization campaign regarding anti polio drive here at Rotary Club, Lal Chandabad on Friday. He appealed to all parents to cooperate with the anti polio teams for eradication of � polio virus from our society.
On the occasion, Dr. Khalid told the gathering that there are 27 refusal cases here in Mirpurkhas and during this campaing all refusal cases will be covered and vaccinated by the help of anti polio teams and the parents.
The Deputy Commissioner also inaugurated the social mobilization campaign by immunizing polio drops on the occasion. The Chairman Muncipal Committee Farooq Jameel Durani while addressing the ceremony said that all muncipal staff would cooperate with the anti polio teams and visit street by street to achieve the target of vaccination.
The District Health Officer Mirpurkhas Dr. Shafique Rehman Memon, Dr. Narain Das, representatives of WHO Dr. Rajesh, Dr. Sayed Mushtaq Shah, S. A Khan, Professor Abdul Hameed Shaikh, Rotarian Sayed Zeeshan Hashmi, Furqan Shaikh and parents were also attended the ceremony.
