49-member Delegation Of Fiqah-i-Jafria Calls On IGP Sindh

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -26th Sep,2016) : A 49-member delegation of Fiqah-i-Jafria led by Allama Abbas Kumaili called on Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja. A police spokesman said that the special delegation discussed in details matters pertaining to security on the occasion of Muharram.
He said that the IGP directed that extra-ordinary security arrangements be made for security during Muharram and deployment of police personnel from rapid Response Force, Elite Commandos, CTD, Special Branch be ensured as per requirements.
The IGP said that there should be adequate security of mourning processions, Majlis, Imambarghas and mosques.
He instructed that there should also be arrangements for the sweeping and clearance and vigilant eye be kept on the parking areas.
The IGP also called for elimination of any wall chalking, distribution of any hate material and pamphlets etc. He further directed that the district SSPs should personally monitor the Muharram security arrangements. The delegation expressed satisfaction at the security arrangements by the Sindh police and assured its complete cooperation, the statement added.
